Clinical setup
WOMBAT stands for Working-memory Oriented Movement-Based Attention Tool. Use it as clinician-directed support, with consent, readiness, privacy, and a clear stop plan before starting.
- Use local mode for one screen.
- Create room links only when a remote client view is needed.
Choose the fit
Pick the mode that matches the session. EMDR BLS gives the full visual field, Phone EMDR supports audio-paced work, and WOMBAT adds more organic movement.
Tune the set
Set speed, duration, number of sets, intensity, movement, sound, and stopping behavior before pressing play.
- Start softer when client response is uncertain.
- Use pause or stop whenever clinical judgment says to reset.
Watch comfort
For remote use, have the client enable audio if tones are planned and use the signal controls when they need pause, slower, dimmer, or ready.
Run the session
Press play, monitor response, and adjust in small moves. Pin the control panel when you want it to stay visible during stimulation.
